Automatic renewal: renews every 12 months at the then-current price (currently $1,200 per year, plus any applicable tax) until you cancel. We will email you a reminder 31 to 45 days before each renewal.
Cancel anytime online in the member portal (Profile > Account Settings > Billing & Subscription) or by emailing info@seniorlivingacademy.com from your account email with "Cancel" in the subject line. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access through the end of the year you paid for.

What's the difference between Starter and Premium?
Starter gives you the complete Home Study Guide (8 phases, 42 lessons and 7 operator stories), the private SLA community, a weekly live Zoom with Brandon, and a GoHighLevel CRM. Premium adds Monday and Wednesday Zooms, 2 event tickets a year, and a monthly coach call. Premium is capped at 1,000 members.
Do I need a healthcare background?
Not necessarily. Requirements vary by state. Some states require a licensed administrator, specific training, or a health care professional on staff, and many owners meet these requirements by hiring qualified staff. Verify your state's rules before you start.
Do I need to own real estate already?
No. The curriculum covers finding, evaluating, and controlling property.
Is this legal in my state?
It's regulated state by state. SLA teaches the framework — verify every requirement with your state's Department of Health and an attorney.
Is there a guarantee?
We guarantee this: if you read the Home Study Guide seven times, show up every week with a positive, can-do attitude, you will be a lot further along than you were — and far more knowledgeable about senior living and operating a home than when you started. We don't promise income, occupancy, or results, and you should run from anyone who does. This is a real business with real licensing, staff, and residents.
